  • Condition: These vintage cardboard boxes are age toned, show edge wear and creasing along the seams where they were opened. The ManZan box has a small tear at one corner of the front. Both samples come with the original enclosed advertising. The Pills box has a few original pills and the ManZan box has the original small round metal container. They come from a smoke-free environment - please see the pictures.

    Vintage DeWitt's
    Sample Boxes
    Diuretic Pills and ManZan for Rectal Irritation
    These vintage DeWitt's medications belonged to my great uncle.  The Smithsonian's
    National Museum of American History
    lists the origination date for ManZan as "after 1905" and the "1940's" for the Diuretic Pills.  These boxes measure about 2 1/8 inches wide, 1 5/16 inches tall and 1/2 inch deep.  They each come with the original enclosed folded advertising sheet, the small round metal container sample in the ManZan box (contents of the metal container look unused)  and a few remaining pills in the Diuretic Pills box.  They will be padded and shipped in a cushioned envelope via USPS First Class Package.
