The video, narrated by Major (Retired) Patrick Lévis, a former Team Canada competitor who competed at the Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands 2022, shares old photos and footage of the Games.
A stunning highlight reel, the post included heartwarming moments of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and major wins from the competition’s athletes.

The Duke of Sussex launched the Invictus Games in 2014 after his service in the army, creating an international adaptive sports tournament that championed wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans.
In the video, Prince Harry said: “Sport has the ability to heal, to change lives and to save lives. For so many of these competitors, getting to the start line can be one of the hardest moments of their life. But at the Games, their lives are changed.
“Watching these magical moments happen and sport being the facilitator of that is very, very special for all of us to witness,” he added.
“I am Patrick Lévis, and the Invictus Games changed my life,” Lévis said. “Don’t miss the chance to let them change yours,” he added, directing viewers to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 website to pre-register for tickets.

The first Games were held in London in 2014, and they then travelled to Orlando (2016), Toronto (2017), Sydney (2018), the Hague (2022), and Düsseldorf (2023).
The 2025 competition in Canada will be the first time the tournament has returned to a previous host country and will also be the first time it will incorporate winter adaptive sports.
“The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will offer a global platform to expand the range and profile of winter adaptive sports,” Prince Harry said in a statement.
“With deep respect, I’m also pleased to share that the Games in Canada will be held in partnership with the First Nations, in the spirit of truth and reconciliation with indigenous communities.”
